In the context of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, Union Minister Chirag Paswan has stated that Rahul Gandhi’s recent statements suggest he has already accepted defeat. Paswan criticized Gandhi’s focus on external factors, suggesting he should instead address issues within the Congress party. He cited Gandhi’s accusations of electoral misconduct and EVM malfunctions as evidence of conceded defeat. Paswan further predicted losses for the Congress in Assam and Bengal. Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav voiced support for Gandhi’s criticisms of the Election Commission, accusing the BJP of undermining constitutional bodies. Yadav alleged that the BJP IT cell has advance information regarding election schedules. Rahul Gandhi had previously criticized the Election Commission’s response to his claims concerning the Maharashtra elections, calling it inadequate.
