The district administration in Pendra has adopted a tough stance regarding the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, leading to disciplinary action. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to his negligent conduct and lack of diligence. Simultaneously, a show cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat. The secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has also received orders for an immediate transfer. The actions were taken under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who emphasized that any negligence in government programs will not be overlooked. He cautioned all panchayat staff that strict measures would continue to be applied to anyone hindering the execution of the PM Awas Yojana. The administration’s strong measures have caused a stir within the panchayats, with other panchayats being instructed to ensure the punctual and transparent execution of their schemes.
