Puri Prepares for Devasnana Purnima: Traffic Diversions and Parking Instructions Released

Puri Police has released a traffic advisory for the upcoming Devasnana Purnima on June 11, 2025, anticipating a large number of devotees for the bathing ritual of the Lord. The advisory outlines specific route diversions and parking arrangements. Four-wheelers will face restrictions. Vehicles from Brahmagiri will be diverted to Sterling Chhak and Beach Road. Those from Bhubaneswar will be directed to parking areas via Jail Road and other designated locations, with overflow parking plans. Vehicles from Konark will follow a separate route. Two-wheelers are allowed on the Grand Road. Three-wheelers will have designated routes and restricted areas near the temple and Lion’s Gate. These measures are designed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during this significant religious event.
