Chhattisgarh: ASP Martyred in Sukma IED Blast Amidst Anti-Naxal Operations

In Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, an IED blast has claimed the life of ASP Akash Rao Giripunje, with multiple police personnel injured. The attack took place near the village of Dondra. The incident occurred while police were patrolling in anticipation of a bandh call given by the Naxalites. ASP Giripunje, who was severely wounded, later died while receiving treatment.
