A passenger aboard a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru endured an uncomfortable experience when they were locked in the aircraft’s restroom for the duration of the flight. The airline has apologized to the passenger and reportedly offered compensation. The events unfolded on a Monday night flight, which was delayed by two hours, departing from Mumbai at 2:10 AM. After takeoff, a passenger in seat 14D entered the restroom and was unable to get out because the door lock was jammed. Despite efforts by the crew, the door remained stuck. The crew then slipped a handwritten note under the door, instructing the passenger to remain on the toilet seat until the flight landed in Bengaluru. The plane landed in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM, at which time the door was opened by airport engineers. The incident led to amusement and comments from online users, with the crew’s note becoming a popular topic.
