A shocking incident has come to light in Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh, where a man faked his drowning at the Gangrel Dam in an attempt to escape his debts. Hemant Chandravanshi, from Kawardha, left his clothes and slippers near the dam on May 25th, leading his companions to believe he had drowned. The authorities launched a comprehensive search operation, involving divers, which lasted for 12 days. However, the man was eventually tracked down in Delhi. The police discovered that Chandravanshi had staged his disappearance to evade his creditors. According to the authorities, Chandravanshi was burdened by debt, which prompted him to create a false scenario. Legal action will be taken against him.
