A man in the Chhawani police station area was killed by his younger brother in a shocking incident. The younger brother used a hatchet in the assault and fled the scene. The brothers had reportedly been quarreling for some time. Both brothers had a known history of alcohol abuse. Police have launched a full investigation and are currently searching for the suspect.
The incident unfolded as Rajveer Singh and Mahendra Singh, residents of Subhash Nagar, Nandani Road, engaged in a dispute. The argument escalated quickly, with shouting and then a physical altercation.
During the fight, Rajveer Singh used a hatchet to strike Mahendra Singh multiple times on the head. Mahendra Singh also attempted to use a knife, but he died from his injuries at the scene.
Following the attack, Rajveer Singh fled. The SP Vijay Agrawal, Additional SP, CSP, and a team of forensic experts arrived at the scene to begin their investigation.
