After the bridge collapse in Pune over the Indrayani River, the district administration has pledged Rs 5 lakh in aid to the families of the deceased. Of the 55 individuals involved, 51 were rescued and 38 are receiving medical care. An aerial survey was conducted to conclude the search operations. A dedicated investigation team, consisting of officials from multiple departments, is set to probe the incident. Additionally, a structural evaluation of older bridges in the region is being sought, and the public is cautioned against visiting such locations during the monsoon season.
