A special court in Raipur has acquitted a man who spent four years in prison based on a false rape accusation. The minor girl who made the accusation initially claimed the man was the father of her child. However, DNA evidence proved the man was not the father, leading the girl to admit she fabricated the story to protect her actual partner. The court’s decision was based on the DNA report, finally clearing the wrongly accused individual.
