Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, has acknowledged the approval of the Keshkal bypass project by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, valued at Rs 307.96 crore. The project involves the construction of a 4-lane bypass with paved shoulders, specifically designed to ease traffic flow through the challenging Keshkal Ghat section on National Highway-43 (NH-30) in Kondagaon district. CM Sai highlighted that the initiative is a testament to the joint efforts of the central and state governments and aligns with the goal of integrating the tribal-dominated Bastar region with the broader developmental landscape. He underscored the benefits of the bypass, including improved connectivity, reduced travel time, and a decrease in traffic congestion in urban areas, which will contribute to enhanced environmental quality. The CM also extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Nitin Gadkari for their vision and commitment to the region’s advancement.
