Crime Roundup: Gang Rape in Odisha, Murder in Delhi

A woman was the victim of a gang rape at Gopalpur Beach, a popular tourist location in Odisha’s Ganjam district. Her male friend was reportedly held captive during the assault. The police have taken seven people into custody for questioning following a police report. In Delhi, police have apprehended three minors in connection with the stabbing death of a man who was trying to stop a mobile phone theft. The weapon and the victim’s belongings were retrieved by the police. The man had sustained severe stab wounds and died in hospital.
