Inspector Neelkishore Awasthi, who serves in the Governor’s security, was promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Police. To celebrate the promotion, a star ceremony was conducted at Raj Bhavan. The Governor, R. Deka, conferred the new rank. Governor Deka extended congratulations and best wishes for Awasthi’s future. The ceremony included the presence of the Governor’s Secretary, Dr. C. R. Prasanna, and other senior officials.
