A woman has been arrested in Rewari, Haryana, along with a broker, for defrauding individuals through marriage scams. The victim, Jaldeep, was introduced to a woman named Pooja. Jaldeep paid 2 lakh rupees to the broker, and brought her home to Rewari. Shortly after, the woman fled with valuables. Police investigations revealed that ‘Pooja’ was actually Kaushalya, who was already married with four children. The individual presented as her brother was her boyfriend. Kaushalya had previously been arrested in a similar case. The accused are currently in police custody, and a 2-day police remand has been granted for further interrogation.
