Despite Donald Trump’s declaration of a ceasefire to end the 12-day conflict, Israel launched new strikes in Iran. Reports indicated that the Israeli military targeted several areas within the country, directly contradicting Trump’s announcement. Trump had indicated that the ‘complete and total ceasefire’ would begin shortly after his statement. In response, Iranian Foreign Minister Sayed Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran had not started the war and that a ceasefire was not yet agreed upon. Araghchi also asserted that Iran’s future actions would be determined by Israel’s conduct. Press TV has released video footage of the moment an Israeli strike hit central Tehran, capturing the resulting shockwave.
