Odisha’s Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has extended a warm greeting to the numerous devotees and pilgrims converging on Puri for the annual Rath Yatra, scheduled to begin on June 27th. He emphasized the opportunity to witness the deities on the chariots and to participate with a devotional spirit. Former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is recovering from a surgery, shared a message of goodwill for the event. The Puri administration and the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) have organized elaborate arrangements for the smooth and secure conduct of the festival. The chariots have been moved and the Nabajouban Darshan has been completed. The police, led by SP Vineet Agarwal, anticipate significant crowds and have implemented comprehensive safety and crowd management strategies, including surveillance and anti-drone teams, to ensure a seamless Rath Yatra experience.
