Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presided over the inauguration of the Tahsildar and Executive Magistrate office in Tapkara, Jashpur district, a significant step towards improved administrative services. The establishment of the tehsil will cater to the needs of 33 villages, offering streamlined services to farmers, students, and residents. At the event, Chief Minister Sai announced Tapkara’s designation as a Nagar Panchayat, alongside funding for the sports stadium’s improvement and plans for a rest house in Pharsabahar. The government is focused on fulfilling the ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ for development, citing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for housing and the Mahatari Vandan Yojana for women’s empowerment as key examples. Additional initiatives include raising the income for tendu leaf collectors and expanding banking services through the Atal Digital Seva Kendras. The registration process has also been modernized for greater transparency and efficiency. Collector Rohit Vyas highlighted the importance of the new tehsil, and MLA Gomti Sai acknowledged the government’s commitment to public service, emphasizing the progress made under Chief Minister Sai’s guidance.
