The annual Rath Yatra in Kotia, Koraput district, saw a significant turnout of Odisha ministers and Congress leaders, celebrating alongside local devotees. The event, held in the village under Pottangi block, is a vital part of the Jagannath temple’s mission to integrate tribal communities. A government delegation, headed by Minister Suresh Pujari and including Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, actively participated. Congress leaders Rama Chandra Kadam and Tara Prasad Bahinipati also joined the celebrations, demonstrating cross-party unity. The Deputy CM highlighted the government’s commitment to Kotia’s development and welfare, while Pujari reaffirmed the state’s support for the region in the face of ongoing boundary disputes.
