Netflix is set to integrate NASA+’s space-focused streaming platform into its service, offering subscribers access to live content, including rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, and views from the International Space Station. This venture marks Netflix’s initial foray into live science content. NASA, eager to extend its educational reach, will provide documentaries and behind-the-scenes content as part of this initiative. The partnership will enable Netflix users to witness space exploration in real time. The content will be accessible at no extra cost, aligning with NASA+’s existing free, ad-free distribution model. The rollout is expected by the end of summer and will also remain available on the NASA app and website.
