Modi noted Bissessar’s past visit to her ancestral village in Buxar, Bihar, and that he had brought water from the Mahakumbh. Speaking to those with Bihari heritage, Modi highlighted Bihar’s global impact through the ages. He also discussed the Girmitiya community and announced initiatives to honour them. Modi expressed his faith in Bihar’s future role and celebrated the Indian diaspora for preserving Indian culture, describing their journey as a story of courage and endurance.
