Tata’s Harrier EV is set to launch, with bookings starting July 2, 2025. The pricing structure includes a range from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 27.49 lakh for RWD models, and Rs 28.99 lakh for the AWD variant. This model marks Tata’s introduction of an all-wheel-drive layout. The Harrier EV’s design retains key elements of the existing Harrier, while integrating EV-specific design cues. The front showcases a closed-off grille, complemented by new 19-inch alloy wheels and EV badging. The Harrier EV will be compared to other electric SUVs like the BE-06, Creta EV, and others. These comparisons address various aspects like range, acceleration, battery capacity, features, drivetrain, power, torque, and charging. The entry-level Harrier EV will have a 65 KWh LFP battery. Higher trims have a 75 kWh LFP battery and dual motors, which provides a 504 Nm torque. The 75kWh variants have a range of approximately 627 km. Charging the vehicle can be done in 10.7 hours using a 7.2 kWh AC charger, or in 25 minutes via a 120 kW DC charger (from 20-80%). The Harrier EV also incorporates advanced features such as an Ultra Glide Multi-Link Suspension, off-road assist, and a transparent mode for enhanced driving capabilities, along with regenerative braking and a summon mode.
