The Haryana government is in discussions with the Disney Company to bring a large amusement park to the state, as confirmed by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The proposed location is in Manesar, with about 500 acres of land identified near Pachgaon Chowk for the park. This announcement followed a meeting with Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The planned Disney park aims to boost regional tourism, bring about significant economic development, generate jobs, and attract international tourists. Gurugram was selected for the project due to its economic importance and solid infrastructure. Beyond the Disney project, the Haryana government is also looking to enhance the International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra and is exploring organizing the Surajkund fair multiple times a year.
