    Mr. Lakshmi Narayan Singh, the head teacher of Government Primary School Pashupatipur in the Balrampur district, has been suspended. The decision follows an investigation into allegations of misconduct that occurred on July 3, 2025. Social media reports detailed inappropriate behavior and intoxication in the classroom. The Block Education Officer of Wadrafnagar investigated the matter, confirming the head teacher’s negligence and leading to his suspension by District Education Officer Mr. D.N. Mishra. During the suspension period, Mr. Singh’s headquarters will be the Block Education Officer’s office in Balrampur, and he will be entitled to a subsistence allowance.
