A woman residing in the Harmu Housing Colony has filed a case at the Argora Police Station, accusing Dumri MLA Jairam Mahato of defamation and causing insult on social media, along with other charges. Uttam Kumar Mahto and Bittu Singh are also implicated in the case. The woman alleges that a YouTube channel linked to the JLKM party used offensive language and made abusive content targeting her. YouTuber Bittu Singh is accused of producing a video that included the woman’s name. She alleges that Uttam Kumar Mahto is an associate of MLA Jairam Mahato and that the video was made at his direction. Furthermore, the woman claims that Jairam Mahato previously pressured her to withdraw a case, and that she has faced social humiliation for refusing to do so.
