The monsoon season is active across India, bringing rain and pleasant weather to many regions. The weather department anticipates rainfall and cloud cover in Delhi today. Alerts have been issued for potential rain in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, alongside Uttar Pradesh and other states. Delhi, the nation’s capital, has recently enjoyed relatively mild weather, and the monsoon is expected to remain active. The day will begin with good rainfall, followed by clearing conditions. Wind speeds could reach 25 to 40 kilometers per hour. The weather department expects rain in Delhi until July 17th.

Uttar Pradesh is preparing for heavy rainfall. Heavy precipitation is anticipated in various parts of eastern and western UP over the next 24 hours, with thunderstorms expected in several areas. Rain is anticipated in many districts of eastern UP today. Certain districts in western UP could experience thundershowers.

Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, and northern Rajasthan are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall today. There is also a likelihood of rain in West Bengal, Odisha, and Kerala. Eastern Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. Western Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, coastal Karnataka, the Gujarat region, and isolated locations in Assam and Meghalaya might also see heavy rainfall.

The mountainous regions have been facing devastating weather. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand recently experienced severe rainfall. A new western disturbance is forming in the western Himalayas.
