Sources have indicated that there are no immediate plans for a trilateral meeting involving Russia, India, and China (RIC). Furthermore, discussions regarding the scheduling of such a meeting are not currently taking place. According to a previous statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, the RIC framework is a platform for the countries to come together to discuss global and regional topics of interest. The next India-Russia summit is anticipated to be held in Delhi, with the dates to be mutually agreed upon. Following a meeting between External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and China’s Foreign Secretary Wang Yi, the concerns of the Indian industry were made public. The SCO meeting participation will be finalized based on mutual convenience. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its commitment to maintaining communication with Russia and India for the trilateral cooperation, which it believes benefits all three countries and promotes regional and global stability. The RIC was established in the late 1990s, spearheaded by Yevgeny Primakov, a Russian politician. The combined landmass of the RIC countries exceeds 19 percent globally.
