Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a Griha Pravesh event in Motihari, Bihar, where he distributed keys to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin. The event saw 12,000 beneficiaries receive keys, and over Rs 160 crore was released to 40,000 beneficiaries. Addressing the crowd, PM Modi stated that the number of houses provided in Bihar under the PMAY-G surpassed the total populations of Norway, New Zealand, and Singapore. He also discussed the increase in funding for Bihar’s development under the NDA government, contrasting it with the support received during the UPA era. The Prime Minister concluded by highlighting the importance of Bihar’s advancement for the entire nation, and the vital role of youth in achieving this progress.
