A horrific accident claimed the lives of three cows in the Haldipokhar market area of East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. A high-speed vehicle struck a group of cows resting near the Jharkhand Gramin Bank on Tuesday night. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Kowali police station. One cow sustained serious injuries and is being treated by the veterinary department. Locals expressed strong sentiments of anger and called for justice, viewing the incident as a callous act. Police, led by Kowali police station in-charge Dhananjay Kumar Paswan, responded to the scene. They used heavy machinery to clear the road and arranged for the burial of the deceased cows in a nearby open space with assistance from the community.
