Kishor is demanding a written statement from the Chief Secretary concerning the issues raised by his party. The demonstration began as the Jan Suraaj group tried to reach the Bihar Assembly but were stopped by police, resulting in a tense standoff. Kishor has also voiced his concerns regarding the government’s handling of child labor. Police officials confirmed that the protesters were stopped from advancing beyond a specific zone near the Assembly and that dialogue was ongoing to resolve the situation.
