The Chhattisgarh Forest Department has undertaken a significant administrative reshuffle, affecting a large number of employees. The department has issued an order for the transfer of 205 officers and staff members, including 86 forest guards, 60 foresters, 27 deputy forest range officers, and 32 clerks. The transfers are intended to optimize the department’s functions, ensure regional balance and improve overall work efficiency. Department officials anticipate improved efficiency in field-level operations and enhanced monitoring. The transfer list has been published on the departmental website and in relevant offices, and the transferred staff has been instructed to take up their new assignments immediately.
