In a major political development, Tej Pratap Yadav, who has been expelled from the RJD, has announced an alliance with the VVIP party for the upcoming assembly elections. Addressing a press conference, he declared this alliance and indicated that other parties are also joining. He emphasized the importance of representatives connecting with the public and understanding their needs. He further announced his decision to contest the elections from the Mahua constituency, indicating the beginning of a new journey. Tej Pratap stated that he will not involve himself with those who are trying to break his strength. He believes that RJD and Congress members could potentially join his alliance. Tej Pratap also addressed the issue of the Mahua constituency, claiming to have changed its situation and having received support as an independent candidate. He declared that he is not driven by the desire for power. He also mentioned his commitment to unite Yadavs and Muslims and invited the RJD to join the alliance. He stated that a conspiracy against Tejashwi Yadav will be exposed soon. He also mentioned that he had given the Mahua seat to Mukesh Roshan and will give him a ‘jhunjhuna’ if he asks for it. The VVIP party is a new entrant in Bihar’s political landscape. Pradeep Nishad, the party’s president, was previously associated with Mukesh Sahani. Notably, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap’s brother, is part of the Mahagathbandhan, while Pradeep Nishad, who separated from Mukesh Sahani, is now with Tej Pratap.
