Following the platform collapse at the NTPC plant in Sipet, rescue operations are currently underway. Injured workers are being transported to hospitals, and the extent of the casualties is still being assessed. The injured workers are reportedly residents of Pori village. Sipet police arrived at the scene promptly after receiving the information. Sipet TI Gopal Satpahi stated that the exact number of fatalities is yet to be confirmed, as rescue efforts continue.
