Three individuals were wounded in a shooting in Times Square, with an 18-year-old woman among the injured. The incident, attributed to a teenager, happened around 1:20 a.m. near 44th Street and 7th Avenue. The gunfire caused a stampede of panic among the crowd gathered nearby. The woman sustained a gunshot wound to the neck, while two men, aged 19 and 65, received leg injuries. All victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital, and their conditions are currently stable. The suspect was arrested at the scene, and a firearm was recovered. Due to their age, the suspect’s identity has not been released, and no charges have yet been filed. This event follows a week of high violence in Manhattan, a gunman opened fire in a Manhattan skyscraper, resulting in four deaths before the perpetrator ended their own life.
