The police department in Janjgir-Champa has announced the transfer of several Sub-Inspectors (SI) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI), with the orders released by Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar Pandey on Friday. The transfers involve the reassignment of one Sub-Inspector and four Assistant Sub-Inspectors to various police stations across the district. The affected officers include Sub-Inspector Bhawani Singh Chauhan, who is now assigned to the Janjgir police station, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Jayanandan Kumar Marble, who has been transferred to the Bamhni-Deh police station. Further, Assistant Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar Tagore will serve at the Baloda police station, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Mohammad Mubeen Sheikh will be posted at the Akaltara police station. The transfers aim to place officers who were on line duty for an extended duration into active roles.
