Mourners from across the state gathered at Nemra village on Monday to pay their respects to the late former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren. People paid their tributes by offering flowers to a picture of the late leader at the ancestral home of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The day saw a steady stream of people, both prominent and ordinary, visiting to pay their respects. Those in attendance took the opportunity to meet with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and share their sympathies. The creation of Jharkhand state saw significant contribution from Guruji. People of Jharkhand will remain forever grateful to him. The late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren’s dedication to the upliftment of the underprivileged will continue to inspire.
