Windows 11 users will gain access to a variety of new AI features integrated via Copilot, as announced by Microsoft. One of the primary features is Copilot Vision, enabling AI to scan and analyze the content displayed on a user’s screen. Users can then interact with the AI by asking questions and requesting actions. Copilot will also be able to assist with tasks like improving image quality. The updates will be gradually rolled out to all users, and some features will be available exclusively on Copilot Plus PCs. Microsoft’s blog post cited a report showing the widespread adoption of generative AI for work and personal uses. Other new additions include an AI-powered sticker generator for Paint and an object selection tool, along with a new AI lighting option in Photos and a precise screenshot tool. The rollout is planned to start in August. It also includes a color picker for the Snipping Tool and a system designed to fix unexpected restarts.
