Jammu and Kashmir traffic police seized a Range Rover SUV on Tuesday that was transporting actor Akshay Kumar. The vehicle, which had a Chandigarh registration, was stopped at Dogra Chowk for having tinted windows. Kumar was en route from the Jammu airport to the Vivanta hotel. The traffic police confirmed that the action was taken because the law is the same for everyone. The vehicle’s owner will be required to remove the illegal window tint and pay a fine before the SUV can be returned. The Supreme Court has issued guidelines on window tinting, stipulating a minimum visibility of 70% for front and rear windows and 50% for side windows. Violations of these guidelines can result in fines ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000. Additionally, the teaser for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, Jolly LLB 3, has been released. The film stars both Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
