Mahindra has introduced the Vision S SUV concept, previewing a potential new addition to the Mahindra Scorpio family. The Vision S, along with concepts X, T, and SXT, gives a glimpse into the brand’s future design and technology. The Vision S features a distinctive exterior design, starting with LED headlights and a front grille housing LED elements and the Mahindra logo. The front bumper integrates a radar unit and parking sensors. The SUV also has roof-mounted lights and pixel-shaped fog lamps. Thick cladding and 19-inch wheels are prominent. The rear design includes inverted tail lamps and a branded spare wheel. Inside, the Vision S introduces a fresh interior design with a new steering wheel and a fully digital driver’s display. The infotainment system will use Mahindra’s new NU UX system, with wireless smartphone connectivity. The cabin features dual-tone upholstery, redesigned door trims, premium seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The Vision S is built on the NU-IQ platform, designed to support SUVs of various sizes and accommodate petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The fuel cap suggests an ICE version, potentially with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Variable-ratio steering is expected to improve handling.
