Another incident of gun violence has struck the United States. A shooting at a restaurant in the Brooklyn area of New York City on Sunday morning resulted in three deaths and eight injuries. The New York City Police Department indicated that the shooting took place at ‘Taste of the City Lounge’ in Crown Heights at approximately 3:30 a.m.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch informed the public in a press conference that the three deceased were male. Two were 27 and 35 years old, while the age of the third victim is still unknown.
According to Tisch, no arrests have been made yet, and the identities of the suspects are unknown. At least 36 shell casings were recovered from the location, meaning that 36 rounds were fired. Tisch stated in a briefing, “What happened this morning was very dreadful, and we will investigate to find out the people behind it.”
