The NDA has chosen C.P. Radhakrishnan of Tamil Nadu as their nominee for the Vice President position. This decision follows the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar. After internal discussions, the BJP Parliamentary Board approved Radhakrishnan’s candidacy, with J.P. Nadda making it official. The election is scheduled for September 9th. If Radhakrishnan prevails, he will be the third person from Tamil Nadu to hold the Vice President’s office. Before him, two other individuals from Tamil Nadu have previously held the position.
