The foundation of a marital relationship is ideally built on love, respect, and mutual understanding. Sadly, disagreements can arise, and on occasion, these disagreements can escalate into extreme and tragic events. This was the case in a recent event in the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand.
In a domestic dispute, the husband slapped his wife, triggering an immediate and violent response. The wife, in a rage, committed a brutal act of violence, attacking her husband’s private parts with a sharp instrument. The nature of the event has sent shockwaves throughout the community.
The incident occurred in the Juriya village, which falls under the Sadar police station in Lohardaga district. The incident began when the couple, Bihar Urav and his wife, were engaged in a domestic dispute on Sunday evening. The dispute escalated when the husband slapped his wife. Incensed, the wife retrieved a sharp object and attacked her husband’s private parts, resulting in severe injuries.
With the assistance of local residents, the critically injured Bihar Urav was rushed to Lohardaga Sadar Hospital for treatment. Doctors are preparing to transfer him to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi, given the seriousness of his condition. However, as of yet, the police have not received any formal complaints regarding the matter.
This isn’t the first instance of such violence. Similar events occurred in Jharkhand’s Pakur district. There, a woman named Kamli Pahadin killed her husband, Lophda Pahadia, after a domestic quarrel by using bricks to inflict fatal injuries on his private parts, head, and other body areas. She was arrested for the murder.
