In Bihar, where Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is spearheading a voter rights campaign, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a significant declaration. During the campaign’s Nawada leg, Yadav stated that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will witness the establishment of a strong Mahagathbandhan government with the aim of making Rahul Gandhi the next Prime Minister. Yadav also strongly criticized the Election Commission, accusing the BJP of collaborating with the commission to steal votes, particularly those of the poor. He cited the case of living Lok Sabha members being declared dead as a strategic move. Yadav expressed confidence that the BJP would not be able to easily win in Bihar. He vowed to bring together all castes, classes, and religions to create a new Bihar, accusing Prime Minister Modi of deceiving the people of Bihar. Yadav expressed his gratitude to Rahul Gandhi for visiting Nawada and informing the public. He declared that it is time to oust the NDA from Bihar and take steps towards change. He reaffirmed the commitment to work towards making Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in the Lok Sabha, claiming that the opposition is removing names from voter lists, thus depriving people of essential provisions like pensions and rations. Rahul Gandhi said his party would expose any alleged vote theft if they have time.
