Dhanashree Verma, the ex-wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, has opened up about the couple’s divorce. The divorce happened months ago, but they have remained in the public eye. After Chahal spoke about the divorce and his decision to wear a ‘Sugar Daddy’ t-shirt, Verma offered her perspective for the first time. She described the emotional toll of the divorce proceedings, sharing that she had cried in court. Upon seeing Chahal’s t-shirt, Verma felt a sense of finality. She stated she supported Chahal through the relationship. She discussed the subject of a ‘fake marriage’ that Chahal had referenced in a podcast, and explained that there are always two sides to a story. She expressed that she did not appreciate the advantage being taken of her silence. Though she did not blame Chahal or speak about their relationship directly, she implied she had her own side to the story, but would not be speaking of it at that time.
