The Chhattisgarh government has completed the appointment of qualified young individuals in various government departments through the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) scheme. An official order from the ministry has been released. The order indicates that 36 young professionals have been posted in various departments. The Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship scheme was launched to reinforce good governance practices. The two-year fellowship program is structured into eight phases. The initial phase included a month-long academic session on public policy for selected fellows, conducted by IIM Raipur. In the second phase, starting August 18, 2025, fellows have been placed within different departments. They are expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of governmental operations and contribute to the execution of developmental policies and programs. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence serves as the nodal department for this initiative.
