The post allegedly contained objectionable content directed toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The complaint was filed by Milind Narote, a BJP MLA from Gadchiroli, leading to the FIR at Gadchiroli police station. The crux of the complaint involves a post that criticized PM Modi ahead of a scheduled visit to Gaya. The post purportedly labeled the Prime Minister as a ‘liar’ and accused him of making false statements. Furthermore, the complaint highlighted another post that featured a satirical song about the Prime Minister. The complainant asserted that the posts were aimed at causing disruption within the community. The FIR includes charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, covering issues of defamation, inciting animosity, and causing public harm.
