Reports indicate Graven endured instances of physical violence and sleep deprivation. His unconscious state during the stream alarmed viewers, who then contacted the police. Upon arrival, the police found Graven dead at his home. A witness reportedly saw someone throw a water bottle at him while he was unconscious. The French newspaper, Le Monde, stated that Graven was involved in content that included online insults and violence.
