Russia has claimed to have seized two villages in the Donetsk region of Ukraine within the last 24 hours. The Ministry of Defense stated that Seredne and Kleban-Byk are now under Russian control, a result of actions by the Southern and Western military groups. Furthermore, the Russian military launched attacks on a Ukrainian military-industrial site and temporary deployment locations of Ukrainian forces and foreign fighters, targeting 143 different locations. Russian air defenses also successfully intercepted Ukrainian air attacks, taking down four aerial bombs and 160 drones in the past week. This military activity takes place amid peace talks between the two countries, with the United States acting as a mediator.
