An encounter in Gurugram’s Wazirpur area resulted in the death of five individuals. The incident involved a group of shooters who were allegedly targeting singer Fazilpuria. The shooting follows an earlier attack on Rahul Yadav, known as Singer Fazilpuria, on July 14, 2025, on the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) in Gurugram. Reports indicate that the plot to kill Fazilpuria was devised by gangsters Deepak Nandal and Rohit Sirdhania. Acting on information received, the STF and crime branch conducted a joint operation to apprehend the shooters, who were traveling in an Innova car without a number plate. After the shooters fired upon the police, law enforcement officers responded, shooting four in the legs and apprehending the fifth. Those arrested include Vinod Pehalwan, Padam alias Raja, Shubham alias Kala, Gautam alias Gogi, and Ashish alias Ashu. The injured individuals have been admitted to a hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Weapons were seized from the suspects by the police.
