The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a weather forecast indicating the likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall in different parts of India tomorrow. According to the forecast, heavy rains are expected in Chhattisgarh, coastal Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand. Similarly, adverse weather conditions are anticipated in coastal Andhra Pradesh, East Rajasthan, the Gujarat region, Himachal Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, and Goa. The Meteorological Department’s forecast also indicates that heavy rainfall is probable in Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, and Vidarbha regions. The department has also warned of potential problems such as waterlogging, traffic disruptions, and landslides in hilly areas in these locations. Moreover, the forecast suggests the possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms in areas including the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Bihar, the state of Gujarat, interior Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand, Lakshadweep, and Telangana. People are advised to be vigilant and follow local weather instructions as the monsoon remains active, resulting in continuous rainfall across the country.
