Apple is preparing for the worldwide debut of the iPhone 17 series, scheduled for September 9, 2025, at Apple Park in Cupertino. India will be a key market for the launch, with pre-orders starting on September 12 and sales beginning on September 19, 2025. The iPhone 17 series will feature the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and potentially the iPhone 17 Air. Significant design changes are expected for the Pro models, possibly including a new aluminum-and-glass build and a redesigned camera bar. Performance upgrades are anticipated across the board, with the A19 chip for standard models and the A19 Pro chip for Pro models. Camera improvements are also in the cards, including a 24MP front camera and a potential triple 48MP rear camera setup on the Pro Max. Pricing in India is expected to be competitive, with local manufacturing helping to manage costs. All four models will be manufactured in India, at Tata and Foxconn facilities.
