A significant controversy in IPL history has resurfaced with the release of a video showing Harbhajan Singh slapping Sreesanth. The incident took place in the 2008 season, during which Harbhajan Singh, then playing for Mumbai, slapped Sreesanth after a match. The video, now made public by former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, provides a visual account of the incident. The footage, captured by Modi’s security camera, shows the moment Harbhajan Singh approached and slapped Sreesanth during the customary post-match handshakes. Following the incident, Harbhajan Singh was banned for the entire IPL season and also received a five-match ban in ODIs.
